Questa pianta cresce molto lentamente e ha un colore blu scuro quasi nero quando sott'acqua. O marrone scuro profondo. Se hai un acquario con solo questa pianta otterrai un totale misterioso con pochissima manutenzione. Una specie di legno scuro che non osi entrare anche se lo vuoi.
